Basketball season is almost here! Our junior high teams will open with home games Saturday vs Whiteoak. 9:00 AM Girls 8th grade; boys 7th grade at 10:00 AM; boys 8th grade approximately 11:00 AM. Ticket prices for JH now $5 for adults; $4 for students.

Our Girls Basketball season opens with the Southern Hills Athletic Conference Preview at Manchester HS Friday, Nov. 15, a two quarter matchup with North Adams. Our girls play the final "game" at 9:00 PM. No SHAC passes are accepted. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 students! Go 🚀!

Congratulations to the Fayetteville Elementary Students of the Quarter for the first nine weeks! These students are chosen from a drawing of all of the green tickets earned over the course of the quarter in each homeroom. Each homeroom has a winner who gets a t-shirt. From our 3 grade level winners one student is chosen by random draw to receive a gift card as the grade level winner. Every student has a opportunity to win just by earning a green ticket. The HS Student Council, along with their advisor, Mrs. Darlene Crawford, hosted our annual Veterans Day ceremony. Thank you to our guest speakers: Taylor Cornett, Technical Sgt., USAF and James Brady, Retired Master Gunnery Sgt., USMC. We appreciate everyone who took the time to come out to today's ceremony honoring our veterans, especially the veterans themselves. FPLS honors your sacrifice, and we thank you for your service. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held today to celebrate the completion of our outdoor classroom. The area features our new Memory Wall honoring students and staff who we lost during their time at FPLS. Superintendent, Tim Carlier, BOE President, Rachel Ray, BOE VP, Merri Kay Adkins, PTO Treasurer, Deanna Kennedy, principals, Jim Herron and Aric Fiscus, and a variety of students, were all on hand to share in the festivities. We appreciate the hard work of the PTO and all those involved in bringing this vision to life.
